LOCATION #1 - ENGLISCHER GARTEN
As winter fades away, nearly everyone in Munich is drawn to Englischer Garten. The park is rich in historical landmarks, inlcuding a Japanese Teahouse constructed during the 1972 Summer Olympics. The Eisbach is a 2km-long manmade river that flows through the Englischer Garten. The approach of spring heralds a burst of activity on the Eisbach creating a favourite pastime for both surfers and kayakers.
