LOCATION #1 - ENGLISCHER GARTEN



As winter fades away, nearly everyone in Munich is drawn to Englischer Garten. The park is rich in historical landmarks, inlcuding a Japanese Teahouse constructed during the 1972 Summer Olympics. As one of the world’s largest urban parks, the Garten has more then enough room for everyone to enjoy fun in the sun!

LOCATION #2 - EISBACH SURFING

The Eisbach is a 2km-long manmade river that flows through the Englischer Garten. The approach of spring heralds a burst of activity on the Eisbach creating a favourite pastime for both surfers and kayakers.

LOCATION #3 - CASTLE GARDENS


Munich’s royal castles have a lot to offer as the spring brings the sprawling flowerbeds to life. Visitors to the palaces in Nymphenburg, Schleisseim, or Hofgarten will encounter symmetrical garden architecture in the Baroque gardens drawing crowds attempting to take Instagram-worthy photos.

LOCATION #4 - CASTLE GARDENS


From April 20 to May 6, Munich welcomes the city with Fruhlingfest. Known foremostly as Munich’s beer festival, Fruhlingfest is also popularly recognized as “Oktoberfest Little Sister.” You can expect warm weather and cold pints in this lively outdoor beer garden.
