Cherish Expeditions Creates Meaningful Travel in India

Cherish Manjooran, is the Founder & CEO of a travel-based impact initiative, Cherish Expeditions. Each of his projects is transformational in nature and focuses on working towards relevant issues like lake conservation to uplift livelihoods of local communities and also working towards Clean Energy & Climate Change through an alternative model of education.

10 Changemakers from across India are hand-picked by Cherish Expeditions to create an IMPACT through a Climate Change Mitigation Expedition in Kerala this December. This journey is brought to light with an intention to bring back tourism along with Responsible Tourism, Kerala through an effort to conserve the Vembanad Ecosystem and documenting rural India post-COVID situation. The initiative aims at achieving Climate Action and Life Below Water which are United Nations Sustainable Development Goals - UNSDG 13 & 14 and is executed in association with The Lake Protection Forum, Vembanad, and knowledge partners, Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and Environment (ATREE). Tata Motors is the Sustainable Mobility partner is associating on the impact Initiative by providing two of their electric vehicles Nexon EV's. The Flag off will be done on Sunday, 13-12-2020 from FortCochin by Mr.K.RupeshKumar, State Responsible Tourism Mission Coordinator (WTM Outstanding achievement award winner); Nadir Shah, Marketing Head-Nexon EV, Tata Motors and Cherish Manjooran, Climate advocate, Founder & CEO at Cherish Expeditions.
