Moanikeala Hula festival Celebrates 25th Anniversary at the Polynesian Cultural Center

The week-long festival will honor Aunt Sally Moanikeala Wood Naluai, Polynesian Cultural Center’s first kumu hula



WHAT: The annual Moanikeala Hula Festival seeks to preserve, perpetuate, educate and celebrate all forms of hula, while sharing the traditional storytelling and culture with the people of Hawaii as well as visitors from across the globe. Held at the Polynesian Cultural Center, the week-long festival will offer attendees the opportunity to participate in hands-on educational activities throughout the week such as ukulele workshops, hula workshops, Niihau shell lei making, “imu” presentation among others.
