How to travel within Ecuador by air? Ecuador has two International Airports located in Quito and Guayaquil. To get to destinations such as: Cuenca, Loja, Manta, Baltra, San Cristobal, or any other destination, you must depart from Quito or Guayaquil on a domestic flight. Important

Keep in mind:

  • Only people carrying a ticket will be allowed inside the airport terminal.

  • One companion will be allowed for underage or disabled persons traveling alone

  • Use your protection mask at all times.

  • Keep a 2-meter (6 feet) distance from other travelers.

  • Use the different sanitizing devices located across the airports

  • Observe the body temperature check points.

  • Follow the signs to airline check in procedures. Counter check-in zones are clearly marked.

  • At the departure lounge, use the seats indicated to keep the social distance.

Ground transportation: Check the circulation hours in the different cities, remember reviewing the mobility restrictions by COE Nacional (National Emergency Operations Center).
