What's in a Visit to Mendocino Wine Country?

Mendocino’s winemaking history dates back to the mid 1800s, when Italian immigrants set roots literally and figuratively, making this one of California’s most historical wine regions. The region is home to 12 AVAs (including the only non-contiguous AVA in America, Mendocino Ridge, and the smallest American AVA, Cole Ranch).
